Family engagement matters
to student success. Family engagement encompasses the shared partnership and
responsibility between home and school. In this course, you will learn what
families can do at home and in the community to support their children’s
learning and overall well-being, and ways schools can include and value
parents’ input and backgrounds. We will
explore the research linking family engagement to better educational outcomes
and discover ways to involve English learner families.
